GEHA monitoring Change Healthcare cyber outage and impacts

GEHA members:

On Feb. 21, 2024, Change Healthcare (CHC) experienced a cyberattack that disrupted their systems and services. This has been a widespread issue that has impacted a large part of the industry. GEHA's internal systems were not directly impacted, but the outage is creating a disruption to specific services and processes that rely on connectivity to CHC.

GEHA took immediate steps after this event to mitigate any impact to our computing environment, including disconnecting from the affected CHC systems and ceasing any exchange of data.

Contingency options are being evaluated and implemented where applicable. We are diligently working on a resolution. No action is needed from you at this time.
