COVID-19 has touched our lives in a way many of us could not imagine, and you and your family are our number one priority. We’re here to help with benefit updates, FAQs, resources and more.
It all started in 1937, just after the Great Depression. A group of Railway Postal Clerks in Kansas City would pass the hat to help one another in times of need.
Just over 20 years later, what started as helpful medical assistance, grew to one of the first carriers to provide plans to federal employees under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Act of 1959. At that time, we expanded our scope to offer health plans to federal employees and retirees from all agencies and branches of government.
Today we’re one of the largest health and dental benefit providers in the country that exclusively serves Federal and Postal employees, annuitants, military retirees and their families.
