Hearing-aid discount program
We work with TruHearing to offer you low out-of-pocket costs on hearing aids.
As a G.E.H.A plan member, you receive access to Connection Hearing®, a hearing-aid discount program through TruHearing. Hearing aids can be expensive, but TruHearing saves G.E.H.A members 30% to 60% off hearing aids. That’s an average savings of more than $2,600 on top of your benefit. You can experience the latest advances in hearing technology from top manufacturers like Signia, Starkey, Phonak, ReSound, Oticon and Widex.
With more than 6,000 provider locations nationwide, an in-network provider will be conveniently located near you. At your appointment, you receive a comprehensive hearing exam where your audiologist will recommend hearing aids to accommodate your hearing loss, budget and lifestyle.
Over-the-counter hearing aids1 are also an option for adults 18 years and older with mild-to-moderate hearing loss. These self-serve hearing aids are available without a medical exam or a fitting by a provider. Retail cost varies from $800–$2,000 or more per pair but may be purchased at a discount through TruHearing outside your plan medical benefit.
Your hearing-aids come with a 45-day trial period, a 3-year warranty, 48 free batteries per aid (included on non-rechargeable models) and routine follow-up visits to ensure you are on the path to better hearing.
To sign up for Connection Hearing with TruHearing, call 844.224.2711 or visit truhearing.com and a Hearing Consultant will assist you through the process.
