Health screenings

Know your health risks

Please note: Due to circumstances beyond our control, the biometric screening program start date has been delayed until further notice. This page will be updated with information on the new program when it's available.

Staying informed on your current health status can help prevent serious health conditions. As a GEHA medical plan member, you can take advantage of routine health screenings that help you stay focused on your health.

Keeping track of your vital health indicators – including blood pressure, body mass index, total cholesterol, and blood sugar – helps you spot the early warning signs of serious conditions like heart disease and diabetes. Even if you are healthy, knowing your numbers can give you a baseline to compare yourself against in the future.

Elevate and Elevate Plus members: See the Elevate Rewards page for information on biometric screening rewards.

HDHP, Standard and High Option members: Details on your biometric screening options will be published on this page on February 1.

Your health screening will include readings for blood pressure, height, weight, hemoglobin A1C (a screening for diabetes), and cholesterol.

Two members per household 18 years or older are eligible to participate in GEHA's free Health Rewards program. You can earn 75 points when you complete your health screening with ExamOne. Health Rewards points can be redeemed for health-related items at welldeservedhealth.com/gehahealthbalance. You do not have to be a member of our Health Rewards program to take part in our free biometric screening program.
